③ I want to help sick children.
3、初步了解情态动词might和would的用法。

1、掌握一些与介绍理想和愿望有关的词汇:hope, would, future,
want
2、激发学生兴趣,运用所学知识介绍自己的理想和愿望。

① I hope to be a teacher.

Step 1 Greeting
T: How are you today?
S: I’m fine./Very well./I’m doing well.
Step 2 Lead-in
Today we are going to learn Unit 5: My Future. First,let’s listen to a
song:What You Wanna Be.
After listening, talk about the words about jobs with students.Then
ask some students about their dreams.
Step3 Reading
Let the students read the dialogue and fill in the blanks.
Step4 New words and the language points

探究案
1. It’s hard sometimes to talk about the future. 有时谈起将来是很难的。
It is+adj.+(for sb.) +to do sth. 是一个强调句,意为“做……事情很……”
句中it为形式主语,真正的主语是后面的动词不定式,例如:
①It is very easy to learn English. 学习英语很容易。
②It is important for us to learn a foreign language.
对我们来说学好一门外语很重要。
2.What will I be in the future?( What do you want to do in the future? )Why? 回答的方式有如下几种:
I want to be… because..
I will be…
I am going to be...
I would like to be… 3. I would be nice to my students.
be nice to sb.
good与nice
二者都有“好”的意思。
(1)good是通用词,可以表示各种品质方面的优异,从美学到道德规范几乎都可以使用.
(2) nice表示使人感到“愉快的”, “好的”.
Eg. 我们的老师对我们好。
Our teacher are nice/ good/ kind to us
4.I wouldn’t give them too much homework on weekends
too much , much too , many too , too many的区别,
注意:没有many too这一用法。
too much,much too,too many 的用法辨析。
too much常用作副词或代词,也可以用作形容词修饰不可数名词。如:
Is watching TV too much good or bad for your health ?电视看得太多对你的健康有益还是有害?
You've given me too much.你给我的太多了。
We've had too much rain lately.最近我们这里的雨下得太多了。
much too常作副词,后接副词或形容词。如:
He drove much too fast.他开车开得太快了。
It is much too cold.天实在太冷了。
too many常用作形容词,修饰可数名词复数。如:
They built too many buildings last year.去年他们建了许多楼房。
5.You might be a scientist when you grow up. 当你长大的时候,你或许成为一名科学家。 might(表示可能、不确定、期望、 许可等,相当于,但更带迟疑、婉转、
谦逊等色彩)可能,也许;可以。
might与maybe
二者表示 “可能” “或许”, 但词性不同. might是情态动词,后接动词原形,在句子中作谓语;maybe是副词,常放在句子开头.
6. sick与ill
二者表示“生病的”意思.
She has been sick/ill for weeks.
她已病了几个星期了.
ill只作表语,不作定语,而sick可作定语.
I have a sick feeling in the stomach.
我胃里有恶心的感觉.
To look after the sick people is his job.
照顾病人是他的工作.
