I’ m Wen Fei from Xin Jian middle school. I’ m glad that I can stand here to share my teaching experience and feelings with you.
I have been teaching English for six years. During this period, I maturated a lot with children’s growth and leaders’ help. People ofen say memory is real because it can prove your youth and maturate. So it does for me. The days with children are just right before my eyes when I recall the past events. It’s they who have a great effect on me. It’s they who make me cry, laugh and move.
What impressed me most was those left-behind children who were naughty and couldn’t get A in exams. Zhang qiang ,a little boy of Grade 4, was quiet. And He always kept silent and seldom smiled in class, let alone interact with his classmates when discussing. He just sat in his seat and studied like a horse, which caused my attention. I thought there must be a story behind him. So I had a long talk with his headteacher. The background of him chilled my heart. His mother left the family after his birth, his father just worked outside and seldom came back home to visit him. So he lived alone with his grandma of 67. He often helped with housework and farmwork. I was shocked then. Such a little boy has borne more than
what he shouldn’t bear.
So I hope I can help him. Then I paid more attention to him and named him to speak loudly in front of us each class. Besides I talked with him after class or at lunch break. What’s more ,I tutored his lessons alone in my free time. All I have done, I hope, could enlighten him to be more outgoing and confident as well as to understand the importance of study. As I expected. He did make it.
In fact,children like Zhang qiang are quite common in our countryside. Due to lacking of parents’ care or love, some of them are dissocial and self-contemptuous. Some even acted as troublemakers to get more attention. Still some hate their parents,which has greatly influenced their growth and mental health.
Facing such a special group I think we should pay more attention to them in life and be more patient with them even if they are trouble makers The most important is to show our love and care to them.
As a teacher, what I have done is not enough. But I will try my best to create an azure sky for those left-behind children with love, especially in the countryside.

Some people will argue that these meetings will leave us with a choice between east and west, but I believe that the best future lies in the creative combination of both worlds. We can make western ideas, customs and technology our own, and adapt them to our own use. We can enjoy the best of both worlds, because our tradition is, above all, one of selecting the best and making it our own.
I love Beijing and Hennan opera because it always reminds me of who I am. But I am also a fan of pop music, especially English songs. So I have combined eastern melody with western language. It is called western henna opera.

There were about 34 million men than women in China in 2013. Part of that is natural - usually there are 105 boys born for every 100 girls. But the Chinese gender ratio at birth is much more stark. It was 116 boys to 100 girls in 2012. The one child policy is largely to blame. Brought in to curb population expansion, the policy allowed only one child per family.
But because male children are seen as more valuable, as well as more likely to support their parents in old age, some parents chose to have a son over a daughter. The result? Large numbers of surplus men who will likely never get married. In fact, one study has predicted that by 2030, 1 in 5 Chinese men in their 30s will never have married , while another states that 94% of unmarried people in China are men.
Some parents are trying to find partners for their sons at physical markets, where people post personal ads detailing their characteristics, as well as their work and educational achievements. Traditionally China has seen high levels of marriage, usually among the young, but measures brought in by the o, as well as increased education and career opportunities for women have meant marriages are happening later.
It's also traditional that women up - meaning they men from a higher socioeconomic bracket than themselves. So women at the top and men at the bottom find themselves alone.
