信用卡用英语怎么说篇二:美国生活：让人头疼的信用卡术语英文，彻底讲明白
刚刚开始使用信用卡的新手经常被一些信用卡术语搞得一头雾水。其实不止是新手，很多使用了信用卡多年的朋友们对很多术语也只是一知半解。这里就把这些让人头疼的术语们各个击破，让大家在使用信用卡时更加游刃有余。
APR
Annual percentage rate，年利率。这个是在使用信用卡时非常常见的一个术语，说白了就是你欠钱的话除了还本金还要还利息，而这个年利率则决定了你还多少利息。但请注意这个利率是年利率，我来举个简单的例子告诉大家应该如何通过APR来计算利息。假设你有一张APR 18%的信用卡，那么你的月利率就是18%/12=1.5%。你的这张信用卡上欠了$1000，过了还款日一个月你还没有还这笔钱，那么你在这个月需要支付利息$1000*1.5%=$15。
但是请大家注意，在使用信用卡时不仅仅欠款需要支付利息，很多其他操作如balance transfer、cash advance等都需要支付利息，这些利息的APR一般是不一样的，一定要仔细阅读信用卡的相关条款。
Balance Transfer
中文翻译为信用卡余额代偿。其实这个翻译并不重要，关键是这个Balance Transfer到底是指什么。简单的说，是指把在信用卡 A上的欠款 (balance) 转到信用卡 B上。还是很晕？我们通过一个例子来说明。
比如你的信用卡 A上现在的欠款 balance 为$5000，而你信用卡 B至少有$5000的credit limit，你就可以用信用卡 B来付信用卡 A 的$5000 (transfer balance from A to B)，以后你直接还信用卡 B就可以了。当然，有些时候，你可以直接将信用卡 B的$5000转移到你的checking account，相当于你loan了$5000的贷款。如果你信用卡 A的balance小于$5000，比如只有$2000，通过要refund check，你也相当于得到了$5000-$2000=$3000的贷款。
有人不禁要问无论如何是需要还信用卡B的，那为什么有人还要费劲巴拉的折腾Balance Transfer呢？如果你的信用卡B可以提供无息或低息 (0 Apr or low APR on Balance Transfer), 并且没有手续费/有低手续费时，通过做balance transfer你就得到了事实上的无息或者低息贷款，贷款的期限决定于信用卡B所规定的时间。
听起来好像很不错，但是提醒大家Balance Transfer水很深，如果想操作好，一定要非常熟悉你的信用卡相关的条款，搞不好会支付大笔的手续费和利息，还可能会影响你的信用分数，新手请一定慎用。
Cash Advance
简单的说，就是直接从信用卡取现金。 例如，用信用卡从ATM机提款，把信用卡公司寄来的cash advance支票存到自己的银行帐户里面。Cash advance通常都有较高的手续费和利率。打算使用之前请一定仔细阅读信用卡的Terms and Conditions，必要的话请向信用卡公司核实。
Financial Charge
是指银行对使用信用卡收取的费用，比如 interests，over-limit fee，balance transfer fee，cash advance fee。一般的信用卡消费并不在此列。
Grace period
宽限期，是指你欠了钱但不需要支付利息的阶段。我们在使用信用卡购物时从账单出来到还款期限due date通常都是有一段时间的，在这期间不还钱是不需要支付利息的。但是其他的欠款如balance transfer、cash advance等通常是没有宽限期的。
Minimum finance charge
这个是指你所需要支付的最低的finance charge。比如你做了一次小额的balance transfer，按照transfer金额的一定百分比计算需要支付$2的手续费，可是银行规定的Minimumfinance charge是$10，那你仍然需要支付$10。
