【Abstract】It is true that learning English well is not very easy. By summarizing my English study, I obtain some good ways to learn English. The first way is to learn English in class. The second way is to learn English in practice. The third way is to learn English in daily life. This paper gave the methods of English study and the advantages of these methods.

Introduce
It is of great importance for me to continue to learn English in college. During these years, I have made some progress and gotten some methods to learn English well. I am of full confidence that someday I can conquer all the difficulties and make achievements.
1. The first way to learn English---studying English in class
1.1 Making sure you won’t go wrong with grammar
In English study, grammar is one of the most important factors. It is the foundation of any kind of communication. Every time before the class began, I always came to the classroom very early, and then prepared lessons before class. So I have never been late or absent for English class in this term. The development and wide spread of English language has led to the internationalization and localization of English language,during which English language is widely used in international communications by people with different mother tongues,in addition,English variations on different levels and local varieties have emerged. ①
1.2 Doing enough exercises
China English is an objective existence as a performance variety used in China.It is based on standard English and possesses Chinese characteristics.②
This term I spent much more time in English than any time before. As I quited my part time job this term,I fucused all my attention on study.Every time before the class began, I always came to the classroom very early , and then prepared lessons before class. So I have never been late or absent for English class in this term. During the class, I always listened to the teacher very carefully and took notes on my English book.
2. The second way to learn English---studying English in practice
2.1 Improving the ability of listening and speaking
2.1.1 making a good plan for your study and practice it strictly
Reading comprehension is also an important part when you take an English test. Reading comprehension test can help you to improve vocabulary, grammar, and logical thought ability. There are some tips for you to improve reading skills: - Practice reading every day. You should read different fields to improve your vocabulary.
- Take note all new words and learn them. - Try to answer all the questions.
- After answer all the questions. Check the key and read the passage again to find out the mistake you have faced and deeply understand the passage you have read.③ Here are some strategies for improving your comprehension skills. Skim: read for the brief idea or overview. Scan: read for specific details or a specific reason.

As a sophomore,I’m feeling the time flies.Recalling about the past one year,so many thoughts about my learning path are flooding in my mind.The memory is just like so fresh,and all the things happened yesterday!www.shanpow.com_my,english,study英语作文。
First I must say the campus life is really different from what I have experienced in high school.The change of life is so great and it’s wonderful.I have more time of my own and the rights to decide how I live and study.From that time,“You have no others who can help you here,just depend on yourself” I said to myself.
For a college student,study is the main task.Last term I passed the CET Band-4 with the concerted efforts of me.In addition,I spared no effort to master all the skills in English learning.Only in this way can I lay a firm foundation and pave the road to my future.In fact,it’s not easy for me to settle down on my study at first.I have to sit down in a classroom and read my textbooks for hours on end.Sometimes it is boring and tough.Whenever I want to give up,a voice from my heart says“Study is no longer an easy job.It needs patience,persererance and perspiration”.
Little by little,I find that sitting in a library,looking up a dictionary and pondering a couple of questions is another kind of joy.Though my study life is not colorful,I enjoy the peaceful life.
I hope to catch up with the time by my hardworking.Every day you can see
me get up early,doing exercise hard and go to class the first one.At night,I am the last one who leaves away the library.
It’s a pity that I’m not willing to,or dare not to raise questions and answer questions actively in the class frequently.But I have developed the habit of taking notes in class.And I’m never absent! What’s more,I finished all my homework by myself,and I assure that I have learned a lot from it. I suppose most of my school time I focus my main attention on my study.As a result,I’m fourth in the last examination.I felt very happy then,meanwhile,I’m eager to top my class.
The ability of learning new things is bound to vary but what matters at the end of the four years is to complete the task on schedule.Frankly,the bulk of my study task has now been done. What’s more,I have read the extracurricular books in my spare time to broaden my view sight and I realized that we can be informed of a lot through it.In the process I find that we all need to learn from the mistakes of others,such an education is valuable and will save us much heartache.
When I encounter difficulties in my studies,I often have thumbed through volumes hunting for relevant material.So I learned more knowledge through it.
I kept on hard,I actively take part in all kinds of activities,I signed up for the club,to join the student union.I was running for class president,because not enough ability,also lost the election.But I was not discouraged,focusing on the participation.Also,I entered a school’s essay-writing contest.At first,I was
confident of my literary talent,but at last,I lost the prize.I feel very unhappy then.
Ideal camps should be such place for contemplation and inspiration,the enthusiasm for knowledge can get us out of bed early in the morning and stay up late at night.With pluralistic culture,we should be changed greatly,we may found the way we think,the prejudices are challenged,and in the campus,we could learn how to learn,I think all those are needed in an ideal campus.
I hope to enhance the ability of learning during the next two years,I hope to have a colorful life.
Still I have a long way to go.And I will try.

I have made a lot of improvements in English. The following is my way to overcome the difficulties. Everyday, I do half an hour’s morning reading to try to pronounce every word out. And I will then spend half an hour listening to English radios like BBC to correct my pronunciation.
