It was early summer
... Before the full green set in
When the lawns de-winterizing
Awoke
To a Yellowish Brown
New floor had not been formed
Not yet ready for
The Tropical Palm;
The white cloud days
Pushed at the Baby-Blue constantly
While the circular Tangerine Sun,
Peeked out surreptitously;
Back in the Era -
When days grew long -
Where the light shown -
The Mud and The Flower -
Yesteryear in the Summer -
Of my Okay and ugly ways -
I remember the good and bad -
Of my many, Summer hours;
Early green splashed -
With Hazy Sides of Gray -
Me, living, off of the sweet land -
Breathing in -
But always, waiting for -
Something better -
To come along -
Something better in-
My life to begin.
Footnote***
Oh, how childish those days were. I had
My life, and my health for the most part.
No suffering, physically or mentally.
Now, with my health going to the dogs, i
Can so easily reflect back, on what a
Silly, selfish human being i really was.
Because i did have something better.
I had my health...and having your health
Is the greatest wealth we can own.
Without health, we have and are nothing!
还没为热带棕榈做好准备;
在暗中偷窥;
我记得漫长夏日时光的好与坏;

Here comes summer
Here comes summer
Chirping Robins, budding roses
Here comes summer
Here comes summer
Gentle showers, summer clothes
Here comes summer
Here comes summer
Whoosh-shiver there it goes
In the good, old summertime
In the good, old summertime, in the good old summer time. Strolling through, the shady lanes with your baby mine.
You hold her hand and she hold yours. And that's a very good sign. That she's your tootsie-wootsie, in the good, old summertime. In the good, old summertime

Bed in Summer
——Robert Louis Stevenson
In winter I get up at night
And dress by yellow candle-light. In summer, quite the other way, I have to go to bed by day. I have to go to bed and seewww.shanpow.com_
The birds still hopping on the tree, Or hear the grown-up people's feet Still going past me in the street. And does it seem hard to you,

MY LOST SUMMER
My Lost Summer
by Alexz
Summer is a playful season,
Children swim in the cool lake,
Legs up and down look like flying fishes
---but I have lost it.
Summer is a free season,
Wind goes through leaves without flower,
Rainbow links the west and the east heaven
---but I have lost it.
Summer is a dreamy season,
Huge white butterfly appears in Fairland,
Dancers write mystically puzzle for ever
---but I have lost it.
Occasionally I run across the strange echo,
My adventure seems an encore for the other.
High ideal is changed to temporary chance,
The sloping needs pillar to mainstay.
Absolutely what I can do is to hope
A miracle to say good-bye to this site.

The Lamb
Little lamb, who made thee?
Dost thou know who made thee?
Gave thee life, and bid thee feed
By the stream and o'er the mead;
Gave thee clothing of delight,
Gave thee such a tender voice,
Making all the vales rejoice? 让所有的山谷都开心;
Little lamb, who made thee?
Dost thou know who made thee? 你可知道谁创造了你;
Little lamb, I'll tell thee,
Little lamb, I'll tell thee: 小羔羊我要告诉你;
He is called by thy name, 他的名字跟你的一样, For He calls Himself a Lamb. 他也称他自己是羔羊;
He is meek, and He is mild;
He became a little child.
I a child, and thou a lamb,
We are called by His name. Little lamb, God bless thee!
Little lamb, God bless thee!
sonnet 18 Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, 狂风将五月的蓓蕾凋残,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature's changing course untrimm'd
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest; Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou growest:
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this and this gives life to thee.
Sonnet 60
Like as the waves make towards the pebbled shore,
So do our minutes hasten to their end; 我们的光阴息息奔赴着终点;
Each changing place with that which goes before, In sequent toil all forwards do contend. Nativity, once in the main of light, Crawls to maturity, wherewith being crown'd, 爬行到壮年,然后,既登上极顶, Crooked elipses 'gainst his glory fight, 凶冥的日蚀便遮没它的光彩, And Time that gave doth now his gift confound. Time doth transfix the flourish set on youth时光戳破了青春颊上的光艳, And delves the parallels in beauty's brow, Feeds on the rarities of nature's truth, And nothing stands but for his scythe to mow: And yet to times in hope my verse shall stand, 可是我的诗未来将屹立千古, Praising thy worth, despite his cruel hand.
Remember
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go, yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day那时你再不能把我的手拉紧
You tell me of our future that you plann'd
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray告诉我你为咱俩设计的未来;
Yet if you should forget me for a while只要你还记着我;你也明白
And afterwards remember, do not grieve;
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
Composed upon Westminster Bridge
by William Wordsworth
Earth has not anything to show more fair:

All bright and glittering in the smokeless air.
Never did sun more beautifully steep
In his first splendour, valley, rock, or hill; 也不比这片晨光更为奇丽;
Ne'er saw I, never felt, a calm so deep!
The river glideth at his own sweet will: 河上徐流,由着自己的心意;
Dear God! the very houses seem asleep;
And all that mighty heart is lying still!
My Heart Leaps Up when I behold
by William Wordsworth
My heart leaps up when I behold
A rainbow in the sky;
So was it when my life began;
I so is it now I am a man; 现在成人之后还是这样
So be it when I shall grow old, 但愿到年老时依然这样
Or let me die!
The child is father of the Man; 儿童既然是成人的爸爸
And I could wish my days to be我就能希望天然的敬爱
Bound each to each by natural piety.
