We all know that money can't make us happy, but many times we act as if we'd be happier with a bit more money. We are conditioned to want to be richer; we are trained to want the latest style that television tells us; we want to earn more money because then we'll have a good life. But none of that will make us happier. And the sad thing is that it can take us decades of pursuing (追求) wealth and expensive things before we realize that. So what will bring us happiness? Luckily, there are three things that don't cost anything. Here they are:
Good relationships. We have a human need to be close with other human beings. Having good, supportive friendships, a strong marriage or loving relationships with our family members will make us much more likely to be happy. Therefore, take time, today, to stay with your loved ones, to tell them what they mean to you, to listen to them, and to develop your relationships with them.
Positive thinking. Optimism(乐观) is one of the best indicators of people who lead a happy life. Happy people feel empowered, in control of their lives. So why not make positive thinking a habit? In fact, this should be one of the first habits you develop. Flow. This is a popular concept on the Internet these days the state we enter when we are completely focused on the work or task. Having work and leisure(休闲）that gets you in this state of flow will almost undoubtedly lead to happiness. People find the greatest enjoyment not when they're passively mindless, but when they're absorbed in a mindful challenge.
If you are interested in some kind of work and keen on some kind of hobbies, it is not a bad idea. Turn off the TV this is the opposite of flow and then go outside and do something that truly makes you active.

Exam is coming
As we can see in the picture, the boy is so worried about the coming exam that he feels dizzy, and even suffers from insomnia and mental illness.
It’s a fairly common phenomenon among us students. With the final examination approaching, many students are suffering from exam anxiety. Some of the students feel nervous because they are not well prepared for the exam. Some feel dizzy because they stay up too late. Others just pay too much attention to the results.
If you have these symptoms, it’s time for you to take effective measures to deal with them. Firstly, make good use of time to fully prepare your lessons. Secondly, there is no need to feel nervous when you have some bad feelings. Taking a deep breath may be helpful. Thirdly, have enough sleep before exams and you will perform well in exams. 风水解读启东中学奥赛金牌之谜
1995年，来自江苏省启东中学年仅17岁的高二学生毛蔚代表中国参加第26届国际中学生物理奥赛一鸣惊人，夺得金牌，成为该项赛事开赛26年来第一个获得金牌的女学生至今已在国际奥林匹克各科竞赛中夺得14枚金牌2枚银牌的优异成绩。本文不从师资和教育的层面去分析，而是从金牌现象的另一面来阐述奥赛金牌夺冠的必然性。
创建于1928年的启东市一所县级中学，为什么在建校67年后一鸣惊人响出中国教育界呢？故事还从另一头说起。
身为启东人民，人人都知道市区有条“人民路”，在老的市政府东边即现在的“乐天玛特”位置是原来的“广播电视局”，1989年11月国家民政部门批复启东撤县建市，早在1984年在原来的广播电视局院内建了一座约为103米的电视发射塔，当初算是启东市区最高的地标。这个“高耸入云”（当年我站在塔下往上看塔尖真能把帽子落下地之感）的自然“建筑”可给启东带来了前所未有的好运气。古书载：要发科建峰塔。先让我们一同来看一篇我从网上复制下来有关“文峰塔”一段记述，
风水，中国城镇的隐秘世界
如果有兴趣进行一下搜索，会发现，被称作“文峰塔”的塔，分布于全国各地。而所有的“文峰塔”形制都基本雷同：阁楼式，平面八角，砖或砖混结构，高度多为七层以上，保留下来的很多达十三层者，下宽上窄，直插入云，望上去确如一枝高耸的笔尖。
再研究下去，还会发现，“文峰塔”还有很多的分身与混名，比如“文昌塔”、“崇文塔”、“文风塔”、“文笔塔”等，其实都是为了同一个功用。
清人高见南撰写的风水秘籍《相宅经纂》中有记：“凡都省府州县乡村，文人不利，不发科甲者，可与甲、巽、丙、丁四字方位上，择其吉，立一文笔尖峰，只要高过别山，即发科甲。”就是说，如果一个地方科举事业不发达，就要想办法改一下风水，变变“文运”了。方法就是择吉地立起一个形似“文笔尖锋”的东西来，且要比附近的山都站得高，此后文人就能发科了。如果当地正好有高耸的山峰，就可称之为“文笔峰”，但实际情况是不会如此凑巧的，建塔就成了最佳选择。
进入明清两代，由于全社会对于科举的狂热，文峰塔的建设也达到了高峰期。虽然我国的塔式建筑，来源于印传佛教的影响，大抵与宗教有关。但“文峰塔”是个例外。目的主要是祈祷当地文运昌盛。其次文峰塔往往建于水口处，起到闭锁水口的作用。另外文峰塔建成后，往往成为当地的地标。
文峰塔分布很广，但主要在中国南方地区，也即风水学说兴盛、宗族势力强大的地区。北方相对要少，东北及西北地区更少。由于建塔费用高昂，一般只有富裕的村落才能负担得起。州县的文峰塔则由官方出资建造。
塔一般都建在城市的东南方位，即风水上的“巽位”。有些地方的文峰塔塔内还供有文昌帝君，这就综合了文昌阁的作用。
姥山上的“文峰塔”，恰好占据了整个环巢湖地带的最高点，位于合肥城的东南方向，同时，下临巢湖的万顷碧波，不仅水天一色，风光绝佳，从风水意义上来讲，也是一块宝地、福地。综合各个方面，都完美地指向了其“文运昌盛”的功用。
“巢湖好比砚中波，手把孤山当墨磨。姥山塔如羊毫笔，够写青天八行书。”李鸿章的这首七言诗，气势雄浑，正表达了这位手握兵权的文臣，对于家乡的热爱以及满腔经世治国的雄心。
象这样的事例举不胜举。在启东市区的东南角有座寺院叫“法音寺”1995年开建了45.88米的“中天塔”，可惜该塔的高度不够，不能助势了。在风水上“文笔峰”要讲高度和地理方位，看看启东中学与百米电视发射塔在方位上是否符合风水要求。
在东西走向的人民路往北约100来米有条“民乐路”，也就是在“人民医院”南边的那条。如果站在启东中学老校区门口（原是启东中学发源地），东南观望“乐天玛特”的方位，即原百米电视塔，读取罗盘数据就是在“乙”的位置，理论上就是在“甲”的方位上。电视塔建成约10年（特殊数）后的1995年，启东中学开始发科（具体夺冠一览表也在我的文库中有的）。从1995年至2004年间（10年特殊数），启东中学已夺到金牌8枚银牌2枚，合计10枚（特殊数）。“10”字一个不可思议的特殊数，3个“10”字又是二层意思的特殊数，新的一层又将开始。
2001年启东中学高中部搬迁至人民路往西10来公里的新校区，原地方设为启东中学初中部还仍在，就是说现在的启东中学有东西二个校区了。
2004年市政府在人民西桥头新港右侧旁新建了159米电视发射塔，把原有的103米的铁塔拆除。
2012年在人民路与江海路口的右侧旁，原来的“人民影剧院”落成165.8米的“环球大夏”，这二个新建的启东地标性建筑，都在“发科”的有效范围内，均对启东中学的二个校区将产生影响。
遗憾的是第一，标志与启东中学的距离没有之前近了。第二，除了上述二个高的建筑物外，启东近年还有其它的高建筑在建或已收工，如，南部的“皇家花园”中部的“开来华府”还有东部，北部等都已落成，这些高建的出现无疑对今后的发科会产生一些不利影响，真正意义上的“文笔峰”格局恐被打破。
由于启东中学校网可能放假在休息，在笔者文章上传前没有打开校网校对到，编成的“江苏省启东中学历年奥赛金银牌得主一览表”可能有遗漏的地方，如有遗漏会在以后的文中加以补充。同时我也查阅了大量资料，如：2013，2011，2010，2009，2008年都未有学生参于际赛，已有5年与奥赛擦肩而过。中途只有2012年（去年）重温奥赛化学金牌的“温暖”.
