Being a child growing up on the countryside, I have spent plenty of my time playing in the nearby forest, which makes me extremely close to the nature and care for the animals. Unfortunately, during the past few years, great changes have taken place in many forests all round the world. We have witnesses lots of trees cut down and many animals hunted or homeless.
If I have the honor to have the chance to speak for a kind of animal, I would like to speak for the elephants. As we all know, elephants have big and strong bodies but they are badly hunted for their valuable teeth. The number of elephants is getting smaller and smaller day by day and it's high time for us to do something for them. Please do consider my application not for me but for the poorelephants./

I am writing the letter to you for the purpose of asking you for assistance. Recently, research on finless porpoises has been conducted in Chongqing. What worries us is that the number of them is decreasing sharply and their number has dropped to less than 1,000. To make matters worse, they are faced with extinction because of human’s activities. It is high time that we should take some effective measures to change the present horrible situation.
Therefore, for one thing, I do hope you can help us by providing some valuable suggestions as to how to protect finless porpoises. For another, we are planning to establish a fund used to help people realize the significance of protecting them. Meanwhile, we are making every effort to raise money for the program. We would appreciate it if you can offer us some valuable experience in funding or necessary money.
From my point of view, only by working together and helping each other can we build a more harmonious world. Don’t you think so? Thanks a lot.
